Loader Third function kit

Thinking about adding a TFK to my B 3350hsdc so I can use my FEL for snow plowing. Looking at a summit valve kit as it is a few hundred cheaper than the kubota whole goods kit.
Anyone have any experience with these kits or someone else?
I have a qa FEL and looking at the titan hydraulic angle plow which is a couple of thousand less than kubota.

I have no knowledge of the Kubota or Summit kits. Mine is WR Long. Six years and no problems.

How could any competitor's QA hydraulically angled snow plow be "a couple thousand less" than the Kubota QA hydraulically angled plow? IIRC, mine cost around $2,600.

I have the Kubota third function valve on my B3350 so cannot help with aftermarket kits.

Hi
The titan hydraulic blade with hoses and QA plate is 1400 usd with no shipping cost. Of course it’s black not orange but I have it on good authority that snow and ice don’t care about the color of the blade.

Checked my records.

My B2673, 72" hydraulically angled front blade with optional hard rubber cutting edge cost me $2,620. IIRC, the hard rubber cutting edge was a bit over $200.

Seems that the difference is about $1,000 rather than "a couple thousand less."

Not implying that that there is little difference in cost, but the increase from $1,000 to $2,000 is 100%.

Sandyc, no idea on the brand you asked about and know nothing on snow equipment. Here the only aftermarket brand have ever heard of is WR Long. They have a very good reputation. At same time am in process of buying a Kubota and price dealer gave me for the Kubota 3rd function was $9?? and WR Long installed is right at same price based upon what my nephew paid. I would also wonder on difference in the fel joystick between the two.

Not personal experience but.... Friends of our have the Summit kit on their L3900 Series & seem to be very happy with it... they installed it about two years ago & no issues...

I have had WR Long kit on my Mahindra for 8 or so years with no problems. I have the Kubota third function kit on my Kubota. I prefer the location of the button on the joystick on the WR Long over the location of the button on the Kubota. The WR Long button is on the side while the Kubota button is on the back side of the joystick. I tend to push my palm against the button on the Kubota when operating the loader opening or closing the grapple when I don’t want to. It’s a new tractor and I’m sure over time I will get used to it.

All that to say as others have WR Long makes a good third function kit. If remember correctly you have to buy through a dealer as they don’t sell direct but that may have changed.

If not mistaken everythingattachments has the wr long and if bought with grapple they did have again I think a $50 discount. Of course no idea if that discount is still valid. Did talk with local Kubota dealer today and they charge $975 for the third function installed on the L tractor with cab it it varies.
