i am looking for a third function kit for the loader on a 3550. been doing some research and it doesn't look to difficult to install. just wondering who makes the best kit for these tractors.
thanks

Been looking for one myself for my max 26. Would love to have a grappling on my bucket.

I had a WR Long on my Mahindra 2615 for the last ten years I owned the tractor. It worked very well with no problems. My BIL bought the tractor and is still using the grapple.

I have a WR Long 3rd function instal on my Kubota M6040. The dealer installed it along with the Land Pride grapple. It's a very neat, well protected installation. I've never had a problem with it and don't ever expect to.

My grapple has been on the tractor for six years. It's so handy - I've never had a reason to swap it back out for the bucket.

This picture will, I hope, save a whole bunch of gobbled words................. IMG_0131.jpeg. The valving and all associated plumbing is installed/attached to the FEL vertical member. Hoses are attached to the FEL arms and run out to the front.

Before you get too excited about a grapple. Consider doing this, or something like this, to your OEM grill guard. Sticks, stobs, limbs, etc just love poking holes in your grill, radiator and battery.

Very good advice. I now have expanded metal on my grill guard but I had to first bend my hood and grill before I went to the trouble of protecting the front of my tractor.
