We acquired a grain drill this spring;I don't have any rear hydraulics but do have a third function on the front to run my bucket thumb and snow plow.Your read about people running their rear hydraulics to the front;I did the opposite.
Just a temporary set-up(only going to use for a couple days),so purchased some 25'x3/8" hose and appropriate connectors and cylinder;worked like a charm.

Cool deal.

If it seems you need it more often a diverter valve can be installed and with the flip of a lever you can have the fluid running to front or back.

Where owners have gotten into trouble is using a rear remote to power a hydraulic motor such as for a tree limber fastened to the bucket of a FEL.

Every time they make an adjustment of the FEL, the saw stops. If it is in a cut it jambs.

The hydraulic motor needs a continuous supply of hydraulic fluid whereas a grapple or similar implement can wait its turn.

With the open center hydraulic system on most tractors, the circuit closest to the pump gets the flow while others wait.
