Third Function

I have a complete third function kit that came off of a 2023 Kioti CS2220. It is like new. Will it function as it should on a 2022 Mahindra 5145. I know mounting brackets and hoses will need to be changed. It's main job will be to operate a Grapple on the 5145.

Were you able to compare the two from parts diagrams, etc?

I'd imagine the hydraulic flow rate of the Mahindra would be much more than the Kioti machine. Spools might be sized differently?

Is this 3rd function valve one that is plumbed into the power beyond line or plumbed into the bucket curl/dump circuit?

If in power beyond would need to verify flow capacity like JT states.

If in bucket circuit suspect would work fine.

Thanks. I guess I need to try to do some research into flow rate. I do not have a Mahindra to compare to. When I have more information I will post it here.

Mahindra 5145, 8.71 GPM
Kioti CS2220, 6.97 GPM
WR Long 3rd Function Valve, 12 GPM
So it looks like the WR Long Valve Kit will be more than able to handle the flow rate of the Mahindra 5145.
The Grapple is controled by the factory rear remote valve. I'm thinping I can use the 3rd function valve to control the remote on the loader and the factory rear remote to operate a hydraulic top link.
What do y'all think? Will I save any money by doing this? There will be no labor cost. The only cost should be hoses.

I presume by controlling remote on loader you are talking about operating the grapple. If yes that should work with understanding that 3rd function is on - off like a light switch so no feathering opening or closing the grapple.
