I keep a bag of elastic bands on hand for various uses and this is just one of them.

i tried this on my straps and it worked great.. My straps didnt have the same type of end, so I had to 1/4 turn twist the end to get it to hook to the handle.. Otherwise it worked pretty good.. the wider the strap the better it would work though

A good chore for the kids to do if you a lot of them, but I like the rubber band and bungee cord way betterah, clump it, band it, bag it, toss it.

as much as i hate to say it. been using 20 footer 3" or 4" wide strap to hold down some stuff. and just ended up rolling everything around themselves and tossing them into a plastic bag you get from groceries or like.

and the smaller ones 1" to 1.5" straps approx 8 feet long. just winding themselves around each other. and tossing into a box, so they were only a single layer thick. never stacking on top of each other.

about the time i would wind one up neatly, i was already undoing it and re-using it for something else to strap to trailer.

I roll mine up round the ratchet and wrap with velcro.
