Was looking at this and wondering why there are two square driveshafts?
Anyone know the model. Was told it's a Ford 5

How much should I give for it?

ON Edit... i think that's a spare shaft laying on the unit.

The shaft on the left goes inside the other shaft. Looks like a custom set for length for whatever reason…….or since it isn’t painted it’s just what is laying around to make it “complete” for selling.

Looks to me like it's the other half of the PTO shaft. It either goes over or inside the shaft laying on the implement tongue. From what I can see it looks like it slides inside.

LHF beat me too it.

Without seeing clearly I would guess they slide in each other, they are both the PTO shaft ... when when it goes left to right, up and down following the terrain, from one equipment to the other and to hook up it need to be adjustable and that's what that is.

Thanks all. What if anything, might this be worth? It's very local to me and I'm a fixer upper.

Looks like its in good shape, lot of the value would be depending on the quality of the fingers, these are $20 each often they are all worn out... Also often the sickle bas has been broken and welded something to check... hard to say, it has it's used but it is pretty limited as a market but probably around $1000 I would say, can't get much below $1000 now days if in operating condition. Can't see it being worth much more but I could be wrong its a guess on my part.

For what it is worth I checked online and I saw one JD a lot newer for for $3k and a antique horse pull for $770... 🤷‍♂️
A few years ago I bought a 1989 MF 3 point for $1500 and every single finger needed to be replace so I got a other $500 in it with the belts.
