But there is a purpose behind my madness.
Loaded up to go do one job. It involves shredding, mowing, edging trimming, blowing away the leavin's. Whew.
The purpose?
I can't get everything on one trailer. I'm pushing wifey to let me get another trailer. I'm wanting a 26-28 foot 14K car hauler. that way I can put everything on one trailer.
Riding mower, walk behind, my edgers and trimmers, my tractor and shredder, etc.
As it is I have the tractor and shredder on a 20' car hauler. It's a 7K trailer. My L3240 with a tiller and loaded tires on this trailer grossed 8980 pounds. A bit overloaded. I don't know what this rig weighs, I've never weighed it but it's a L5740 with loaded tires and 640 pounds of cast weight and a shredder that weighs substantially more than the tiller.
I have my John Deere riding mower on the little trailer along with the mower and my edgers and trimmers. I pulls nice but it's a pain to load and unload. Gotta hook up, unhook, hook up, unhook...well you get the idea.
The job itself is a sweet deal. $650 for 4.5 to 5 hours of work. It's hard work but it pays well.
Anyway, just thought I'd show y'all this and don't get on my case because the rops is gone. I got tired of it being in my way in 90% of the jobs I do so I took it off.
