Tractor
New Holland TC33D
Hi Guys, long time reader, first time poster and new member.

I've owned a little over 5 acres for years and in the last year
decided I had to have a tractor. (I know what took so long?)
Well, to be honest it was the money factor and learning enough
to know what I was doing. I bought a Kubota B7200D and as
soon as I rode it up my driveway I knew I made a mistake.
I'm sure it's a great tractor it's just to small for my hill and needs.

Yesterday I went to Kentucky and bought a New Holland TC33D.
I think it will do what I need and be more stable on these hills.

Anyway, any time I googled a tractor question or technical specs
or typical issue, this site was always on the first page of a search.
This made me decide I needed to sign up today and I feel confident
if I have a problem I now have a go-to place to solve it.

Thanks for the service you provide! :drink:

Thanks for the warm welcome guy.
Sorry it took me a while to reply, raising kids,
working full time and trying to learn and get this tractor
straight consumes most of my time.

Turns out the old fella I bought it from didn't do much maintenance.
Heck, who am I kidding, he didn't do ANY maintenance. I went out to
learn last Sunday and learned it was overheating. I couldn't see any coolant
when I opened the radiator cap. I flushed and filled the radiator and cleaned
the screen (chicken feathers and hay everywhere) took a wire brush and
carefully cleaned the grills on the radiator.

I guess I was a bit naive, I have worked on cars for years and even though
the components are similar I just felt lost when inspecting a tractor. I raised
the hood and saw it was nasty, I guess I just thought that's what a tractor
looked like. I ordered new air filters and replaced them. I changed the oil
and now I'm checking and replacing other fluids, replacing fittings and greasing
the ones that will take grease. Holy cow! This is a full time job!!!!

Anyway, sorry, I have no pictures yet but I assure you it happened.
I would love to share knowledge, unfortunately when it comes to tractors,
I have none. LOL AMOF, I'm about to ask a couple questions in the area
assigned to those questions. Thanks again for the kind regards.....

New Hollands are good machines, so hopefully by re-doing all the maintenance items, you will get it back up and running.
