Hey all,

They're asking a premium price, but I think it's worth it. I really like the 830/850s. They're simple to use, simple to fix, and offer a lot of modern features. The onl;y thing that'd make me hesitate is that v-twin Briggs engine. It's a very powerful, very smooth engine, but it's also very finicky. It can be very cranky to start if there's old gasoline in the carb.

That is a really nice tiller...
They are high on price but I understand where they are coming from...
In 1985 I bought a new Troy Built 8 HP tiller with electric start...
I used it for over 5 years and replaced the tines a couple of times...
It had a Kohler engine and was in excellent shape...
I got out of gardening and decided to sell it at a local farm auction company that had been in business for over 30 years...
The darn thing brought more than I paid for it...
That is a good unit and somebody will pay for it...
