Check this UTube vid out. watch this guy balance a huge rubber tire loader on the from wheels. I would say he has good hand and eye balance.
if you can do this with your john deere. you would be the man.....:D

Somehow I don't think my 2520 has the omph to get enough weight in the air to get my back off the ground......

That's exactly why I have loaded tires and about 900 lbs on the 3ph... I don't want a 2 wheeler:eek:

Sure it does. without a balist box. its not hard at all.
though i dont recomend it.....:D I like all 4 tires on the ground my self.
but it was a cool vid. there is always people that will push the envelope.:)

All I have are weighted tires on mine and my loader will not lift something before the back gets light.

Problem is, most CUT front axels aren't made for lifting the weight of the tractor, the full loader and the weighted tires. That's why weighted tires aren't as good for your tractor as weight hanging off the back is. Ballast on the 3pt transfers weight from the front axel to the back axel -- assuming your rears are still on the ground.

Weight in the rear tires just adds more weight onto the front axel when you put a heavier load in the loader (possible because of the weighted tires).

The machine shown in the video is made for that sort of thing (or it will die young).

That's amazing, but it looks like the landing would be hard on your neck.
