I'm thinking about getting some teacup or miniature pigs for the missus. At present, we have a small (5) herd of Basset Hounds, two Blue and Gold McCaw's, and the wife serves as a "foster mom" for abandoned puppies for the local Humane Society as needed. She loves critters and feeds just about everything (except the bear) that wonders through the property.

I'm thinking to purchase two of the little pigs (if male and female, name them Link and Pattie?) For her. Anybody out there have and experience with them or thoughts on raising them?

Well, your do give me a thought. If they don't work out, they could become piggie pot pies for one :licking:

I'm not in favor of keeping pigs as pets, even small ones. The boars are particularly dangerous. Why don't you buy her miniature horses instead?
