Having the ability to test-drive options for your specific situation is best…especially when you have hills and rough terrain.
I tried several ZTR’s on my property (including a BB) and was sold on the Cub Cadet with the steering wheel after a demo.

Good luck. For what it’s worth, I’ve had a Bad Boy Outlaw (gas) since 2015 and it’s been terrific.

But - my mowing areas are pretty flat and gradual elevation changes. The worst I have is about 20 degrees and the Bad Boy handles that just fine - even if the grass is a little damp.

ZTs can handle steep slopes IF you are an experienced operator. However, some skid marks can happen

Agreed.

My Cub Cadet Pro Z 560 S is designed for around 20 degree slopes, I believe but, I mow on some 40 + degree hills.
On the steep stuff I mow mostly straight up and down but, there are trees I mow around and I don’t have a plateau up top, so I have to also change direction in steep areas all the time.

I personally wasn’t able to operate a lap bar setup without sliding down my hills but, with the steering wheel, I’ve been able to do it all.

Maneuvering the steep stuff takes some getting used to but I’m amazed at what this Cub Cadet has been able to do.
