Grease fittings are normally found in two sizes,a smaller one and a larger one.
On domestic built equipment, the smaller one is 1/4-28,the larger one is 1/8 NPT(National Pipe Taper).
Metric equivalents would be 6MM X 1.0 for the small one, with the larger one is 1/8"BSP(British Pipe Taper).
Since the loader is USA built,it would have the former fittings.
While the tractor itself is Japanese,it would use the latter fittings.
Therer is a 10mm straight fitting available, which is most likely what you have that doesn't fit.
If that's the front axle pivot fitting we're talking about,I believe it would be the 1/8" BSP
IIRC the 1/8 NPT is 27 threads per inch and 1/8 BSP is 28 threads per inch.
The O.D. of an 1/8" pipe thread fitting would be close to 10mm.
Pipe thread is measured by the I.D. of the pipe.
Sorry to ramble but hope this helps.
Good Luck!
