I own a used L35 Kubota. On the manual diagram for the three point hitch, there is a " Lower Link Holder" illustrated. What is it made off? It looks like a rubber tarp strap.

This part hooks into the yoke of each of the two lifting rods and ties the lifting links together. The manual says, " When operating the tractor without a three point hitch implement, it is necessary to lock the lower links to prevent them from hitting the tractor rear wheels." Would a rubber tarp strap work?

That is exactly what it is! I think it is 12-14 inches.

I bought a horizontal drawbar at tractor supply. In addition to being handy for pin hitch attachments, it keeps the lower links from swinging around wildly.

I have the horizontal bar on mine. Neighbor rides on it when we are doung stuff.

Going to buy a carry all before long...
