I have a JD 4110hst with a hitch problem. There is a lever on the right hand side (as you sit in the seat) that raises and lowers the three point. There is also a sliding stop to facilitate maintaining a certain height for the attachment, if need be. The lever travels about 7 inches (+ or -) When new, the lever could be stopped anywhere along the route of travel and the implement would hold. As time went by, the "active travel" distance got smaller and smaller. In other words it took a shorter distance to be all the way up (or down) It is now about two inches. It still goes all the way up and down, but the adjusting distance is getting very touchy. I have a service manual and have done all the adjustment possible. Does anyone have any clue as to what might be the problem and/or fix?
