Went out to my shop to start all the Kubota's and all went well every one started right up in true Kubota style. Then I started my my Water pump, the air compresser and both pressure washers again all went well. Then I went to start my Ford gas 3000 and it too started, it was slow but it started then the bad news it seems the throw out bearing is out. Any one have an idea what it cost to have a throw out bearing changed? If I try to do it on my own what should I look out for?http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/images/smilies/confused.gif

You gotta split the tractor and support both halves at the same time. Other than that I have no clue. NOT a job I would even think of doing myself.

Straightforward mechanically, esp if no loader, about 10-15 hours on concrete. The hard part is going to be deciding what new parts to put in: disc, pp, seals, freeze plugs. Many would say ALL! How many hours on it?

Been busy doing other stuff so I have not touched it yet. Unknown number of hours the clock quit at 2100 hours. I sure it has less than 4000 hours, not sure why. Depended on how bad ever thing looks I may change only what is bad.
