A few days ago the neighbour went through our land with a D3 and brush blade. He pushed over several trees for me so that access will be easier.
That said I pulled them out of the pile and was cleaning up. When pulling the one I was watching that the front wheels stayed on the ground when I got a real good thwack on the head from a 1 in. hawthorne that was pulled over as I was dragging the other tree. No damage to the tree but sure hurt my ego. Didn't hurt me either as it hit dead center on top of my hard hat.
Normally the bucket is filled with rock when doing this type of thing but I was in a hurry.

Those trees will try to extract some revenge in any way they can, it sure shows that you have to have eyes in the back of your head whenever you are working around them. Hardhat is a good idea.
