I opened the door of my new tractor home and smiled at the sight of a tractor not buried in snow or shed clutter. As I warmed it up the smile left my face when I saw a puddle of hydraulic fluid. The leak is from the base of the cylinder that controls the rotation of my blower chute. Cylinder is two months old. Other than being painted to match the blower, it has not been modified. Is there a torque spec for the tie rods. My first thought is to tighten the tie rods. Second thought, take the cylinder back to the supplier. Last resort is take it apart and reseal it.
Does anyone have any experience or advice?
Thanks.

Do not touch it other than to remove it and take it back. If someone buys a cylinder from me, and I can see that it was tampered with, I may or may not warranty it. If it was not tampered with, it's definately warranty.
