Haha, sometimes I type too fast and my phone sometimes has a mind of its own. I think I was looking at a roll of s6 when I was typing. My little Lincoln is running straight flux core wire.

To the original poster who asked what we weld. My day can range from building a battery box for a golf cart to repairing damaged buckets on cat 980 fel's. With a lot of enclosed car hauler tag along in between. Those are Ali and steel jobs, ans I even do the hydraulic work on them.

Ps if you get behind one on the interstate, grab some gas and get away from it. Those things are junk and not very well built. More then once I've had to come along one car off of another due to some drivers opting to keep hauling instead of coming to see me and get some work done.

Why wouldn't a gas less flux core mig set up be just as handy as a stick? If you needed to do thin stuff, at least you have the capability.
