I know many of you are keen hunters and I thought you might be interested in a tiger hunt that I went on back in 1967. Tiger hunting was legal back then, but you could only take one per season I think The link is www.tigerhunt.50megs.com , but please dont go there if you feel strongly about this. I have not included any of the more graphic pictures.

Or the really cool times when they have young ones that come in from abusive, neglect, or really stupid people that think these animals can be kept as pets. That is a black leopard.............not a panther. No such thing as a black panther

folks, dont think for one second I am against hunting please! I am a hunter from way back, who would not do it anymore, but know that it is the best way to control, and prosper healthy animals. I show these photos because I know that Tiger hunting is illegal now, but was not always. I also know that in many places it is for revenue and no concern for conservation or the animal is considered. If the hunting is legal, and ethical and will have a positive effect on the herd in the future, I support it!

The animals at this facility have been taken from abusive, neglected, or dangerous to humans and the animals situations. These wonderful folks give them a home for life, and work very hard to make sure the rest of these cats lives are much easier. Most of them come to them blind, not permanent, or in need of medical help. Some are declawed, such as Autumn, which means they can not be released into the wild, and none of them have ever really seen or experienced the "wild" as you and I would expect.

Everyone has seen circus cages.........well you have seen the "home" of most of those cats. yeah they live their whole life in that cage except when preforming.

My wife and I love our volunteer work there, and we love the cats and the folks that work with them.

thanks

I do a very small part of it, once a month feeding and cleaning the habitats of these beautiful animals. Without being in the loop, people dont realize how many exotic cats are killed every year because of no where to go. Right now this place and a couple more like it I know of have probably over 300 combined. We have 175 at this location alone.

I am not against huntering but how would people feel if they were hunted by people with guns??

You and my wife would get along great. She did rescue for dogs (pits and rotties) for about 8-years. The killer part was when many dogs had to be put down because of pointless BSL, running out of room or owner that drove the do nuts. This is sad and I do not know how she did it.

I give these people (you, here and others) lots of respect since it is not easy to deal with these types of situations (most times due to owner neglect).
