tillage with a GC2300/GC2310?

I regularily go to farm equipment auctions, and if I see appropriately sized tools for my GC2310, at the right price, then I'll buy them. (I'm a bit of a collector )

So... anyone using a plow, or discs, or harrows, or cultivator, or ... with their GC2300/GC2310? How is that working out for you?

Anyone have any recommendations as to the size of these pieces of equipment? With the horsepower rating, I imagine only a one furrow plow?

The GC2310 that I just bought was supposed to be delivered this morning. However a snow storm hit last night, and so delivery has been delayed.

I haven't seen too much on folks using their GC series tractors this way. There have been several posts about folks using The Kubota BX series, and JD 2305 this way with very good results. It seems that a 12" single bottom plow works fine with these machines, and appropriately sized cultivators, and harrows. Landpride has a good video of a sub cut running one of their disc harrows that you might want to watch. ( It's at their web site) One has to be aware of the Hydro fan, and filter, of course, but the new GC series comes with a pretty good guard. Some folks have modified both sleeve hitch, and old pull plows to three point hitch configuration with good results too. Have fun with your new tractor!!
