tiller for BX1860

I am looking for a tiller for my bx1860. I recently had 2 acres cleared of over grown brush. I want to till and rake the area and establish grass. What should i look for in a tiller. I am VERY new to tractors. I moved from 1/4 acre subdivision to 5 acres and my dream house. Thanks for the input

A lot of guys here really, really like the XB tiller from King Kutter at Tractor Supply Co. (TSC). That's it's also orange doesn't hurt.

I agree w/ BP I have a KK XB box blade and waiting on my KK XB rotary cutter. From what I read here they seem to be a sturdy tiller. When my walk-behind dies that is what I am looking to buy. Oh yeah, I have to repaint mine to match my red, but if you buy one it already matches

I have a Land Pride RTR 1042 behind a BX 1850 and am pleased with it. Slip clutch is a plus. If you are going to have a lot of roots (and it sounds like you may) then I would suggest doing something about those first. Maybe a box blade with a couple of the scarifiers down deep to pull them loose. Somebody here may have a better idea on how to get rid of the roots since I'm new to this tractor stuff too. I know when I tilled my yard up the shallow tree roots had to be dealt with.

I've been using a 52" Woods slip clutch for 3 years now on a BX1850. The things built very well. The slip clutch has saved me on a couple occasions.
