New guy here. I have a GC1715 tractor and would like to go with a tiller. I am in Ohio, some clay in the soil. I initially was going to purchase a KKII 48" tiller but do not know how well it will work as far as lift height. From my measurements I think I will only have 5'' of ground clearance. I don't know if this will be enough to load on a trailer. Also do any of you run tillers w/o the FEL? I am thinking maybe a tiller built for subcompacts will work best. My MF dealer sells Woods tillers, but all they have on the lot are the reverse rotating tines for $1900. What are your thoughts?

I recommend the gear drive. If properly maintained, it will last the life of the tractor and beyond.
