tiller for my B2320

Besides yanmar, what are good cheaper used tillers with tines for U.S. soil, not rice swamps? No offense intended to those who own yanmar, I just know weak tines won't do the job with all the rock and roots I'll be dealing with. I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed when it comes to tractors and attachments but I need a decent tiller for this spring and can't spend like I'd like to on a new high-priced tiller. Any info would be appreciated.

King Kutter or County Line at Tractor Supply might be worth checking out. Tillers are very expensive, especially the bigger names like Land Pride and Bush Hog.

I have a Land Pride tiller, reverse tine. It does an excellent job and is extremely strong unit. It does cost more than some of the other brands, but my question would it be cheaper to get the best now and not have the probems with break downs with the lesser brands? When you hit a rock or something is going to give, hopefully the shear pin, but not always!! Good luck in your purchase.

New member here. I just purchased a BX25. I got a 60" Tonutti gear driven tiller with it and a 60" MMM. I asked the dealer if the tiller was too big for the machine and he said it would handle it with no problems. After I got it home and read the manual, Kubota recommends you not exceed 42" for this model. I asked dealer and he said the machine had more than enough power for it and not to worry about tearing anything up because of the slip clutch.

At any rate, he gave me the 3PH kit at no charge. Took the hoe off this evening and hooked up the 3PH and tiller. It's heavy, but the BX picks it up with no problem and PTO operates smoothly. I guess the real test will come in a few weeks when I hit the dirt with it.

At any rate, I found this site while researching the tractor. I haven't even done anything with it yet and am alredy in love with it!

No such thing as a cheap tiller, some are just not as expensive as others. I have a Land Pride, but KK and others are good performers.

I have a few of the Hawkline tillers left at $1495 + cheap shipping. Slip clutch, 6 tines per rotor and geardrive. I also have the Tarter also branded County Line in many TSC stores for $1595. Ken Sweet

Depending on where you are, you may be sorely disappointed by the lack of good, used tillers at affordable prices. Especially now, on the eve of tiller season. I looked and looked and finally gave up and assumed some debt, went to TSC and got a KKII. It has been a great performer and a solid investment. I wish you better luck with the used market than I had.
