Tiller Tiller Setup

/ Tiller Setup #31
Chuck, the left and right shoes do have to be adjusted individually, so that's one bolt to remove and two to loosen on each side, and like you said, with the flap on the back opened up (mine has a chain and a notched bracket at the top, so it's just a matter of pulling it up and slipping a chain link into the bracket to hold it open. And of course, maybe it seems so simple to me because I use an air impact wrench, and that makes it quick and easy.

My tiller adjust the same way but only a couple of holes.

Bird, I only have one pivot bolt on each side. You have two per shoe? The rear flap on mine is also chained up, but the chain adjustment isn't as neat as yours sounds..unless I just haven't looked at mine right, which is not unlikely, and is one of the reasons I like reading these threads!

Chuck, I need to loosen a bolt on each end (front and back) of the shoe. They're the ones that hold the shoe on.
