Tilt and Trim and Rear Hrdro Valves?

I decided to add tilt and trim as well as one rear hydro valve on my new TC40DA and was wondering if I should go ahead and have an addition hydro valve installed? The only implements I plan to purchase right away are a 6 ft BH, an all purpose plow and maybe a good box blade! I would like to add a hopper a sprayer and eventually a tiller and maybe a post hole digger to the collection later!
Any comments appreciated as we sign papers tommorrow!

Tilt and trim will require two valves unless you are plumbing an additional valve off of the one you are buying. I believe the second valve is somewhere around $200.

I went with two rear remotes. I've only ever used the tilt but I figured that I might want to use an adjustable top link at the same time someday. Cost was another $250 (for the second remote) I think. Not much in the long term really. I couldn't think of a use for a third remote so I didn't bother.

The second and third remote are $213 each if you buy the kit and install them yourself. You can add about $100 if you have the dealer install them.

By the way, the term is more commonly "top and tilt." The reference is to the toplink and the tiltlink. The cost of the cylinders and hoses plus fittings and flow restrictors is around $500 in addition to the extra remote valve.

It turns your boxblade into a mini-dozer and is extremely handy on uneven ground when you want to grade only on one side. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
