since new, the tilt steering on my 3520 has slipped. i happened to have it back to the dealer recently and they installed a new bracket, the one with the teeth that you unlatch to move the steering up or down. they said the teeth were worn from slipping. it did improve it but not cure the problem completely. the two springs on the latch are kind of weak so i got an old screen door spring and cut two small springs from it the length of the originals and bent hooks from the end coils. installed them alongside the originals, two on each side. it made lifting the latch real stiff but so far it has yet to come unlatched even if you pull yourself up from the seat with the steering wheel. seems the stronger springs are keeping the teeth meshed unlike the weak original ones. hope this helps someone else who may have the same problem. cheers...........bud
