Anyone had any luck in tilting a front blade? I have left and right hydraulic but would like to be able to tilt a little bit. There seems to be enough movement (slop) in the linkage to allow for a little tilt to compensate for the tractor wheels going into a dip.

weld in a cylinder, add another hyd hookup with a lever to control it (if ya don't already have an extra that you could use) and bingo ya got tilt

The small snow plow I picked up for my old L3200 had around 15 degrees of side to side tilt natively. I built the SSQA to 3pt adapter which had lots of vertical float. But the hosisontal float was OEM design & somewhat irrespective of the angle. Its tipped over in the photo with snow.

My new new SSQA plow for my new L4060 (old one ran off with the L3200) doesnt have any float in any direction. Not much snow to plow with it last year but it did ok. I may rebuild it for some vertical & horizontal float, but I'm not desperate to do so, yet. Does the blade have the springs to allow it to tilt when you hit something? You may want to figure out a way to make sure you don't negate that feature.
