I received my Tiltmeter last week and of course, set out immediately to mount it. Rick (from R&B) and I kicked around a few ideas. I ended up with this set-up, photo attached. Since this is in a generic forum, I'll mention that it is mounted on a Kubota L3600 ("orange" you glad I pointed that out for you!). I used pop rivets to attach two stainless steel hose clamps to the meter. I did this in order to clamp the meter to the FEL cross brace. I lined the inside of the clamps with thick double sided tape to hold it in place better and to perhaps cushion some vibrations. Okay, so it also prevents the clamps and the back of the rivets from scratching my nice shiny paint, although this was not the main motivation. I find this to be a perfect mounting position as far as visibility goes. It is right in my line of sight and I hardly have to divert my eyes to see it. I'm not sure how this set up might work on other tractors. I think it's neat, effective and since no drilling was done I maintain flexibility.
