Saw an Alamo Timber Cat working today. The town highway department was out playing with their new toy. Trimming roadside brush as high as it will reach - really high! Up there where a month ago they were trimming with a flail mower, throwing trash everywhere /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif I've seen them doing this many times but never more than a blade width high before. I think someone must have stopped them; they never finished the project. They were making a huge mess to say nothing of the safety issues with the flying debris. And the noise of those flails attacking 3 inch oak limbs was fearful to behold! This Timber Cat is nice and quiet and gentle, no frenzied flailing about; much more appropriate in our more horsey neighborhoods.
