Good job on that spruce ! Must have been a little warm for that kind of work yesterday. We had over 90 way up here. Same thing for the last week. I last til about 10 o'clock then cave in. Today is supposed to be the last one.

Let's hope so Gordon. I am an "outside dog" but these hot temps shut me down. I'd take a week of low teens over a single day of this crap.
That's the best way to get the stump out AndyMA! nice job.

I agree with you there. I even prefer to work on a rainy day like we had last week, rather than this crap. I don't know how the guys on a paving crew do it- they would find me passed out in a ditch from the heat.

Excellent! I bet that was satisfying... (Don't lie ). Big kid in all of us I think.

I'm just hoping for some rain tomorrow.

Yes dead standing, did not give up the ghost easily. My property is an old Christmas Tree Farm. Lots of 75 foot spruce to remove, mostly 4 feet apart.

Of course, its always something when they start to move. Just hoping the root ball doesn't come up under the backhoe. Constantly using the hoe to push it away as it falls... The MX is about 3,000 lbs and 25 HP less than the TN75 I traded for it, The TN's hoe was 10.5 feet, the Kubota is 9 feet. and yes you can tell the difference.
