28K for a regular cab truck that is 10 years old is nuts. My college roommate just got a 2015 6.0 2500 Crew Cab for 31K.

Years ago when I was doing glass work I was at a local school talking with the maintenance manager. They had just got a 25 year old Chevy 3500 4wd with a 10' plow from the government. The truck had 250 miles on it. Turns out that the base the truck was sent to was in Florida. The only use the truck got was being driven to get it's oil changed and then parked again. It was funny seeing the interior. It looked like brand new. I certainly would pay top dollar for a vehicle that will still need work. Seals and other parts age and will need replacing.

I can see them getting the asking price if it was a Duramax.

Truck is worth high retail. I would think a selling price 16-18 would move it. 28K is so high it makes my nose bleed.
