I think i lost my mind in the early spring between the ,dust ,black flies and watching my brother in his TN75 cab laughing at me on my 40DA clearing rocks with my rake and rock bucket i had enough! Drove to the dealer and looked at options for after market cabs with AC, could not believe the prices .
It is actually cheeper to trade in my two year old machine for a new cab model ,then to retro fit it . I still need something that can do the work around the house lawn mowing , snow removal of a 1400 foot driveway, the only complaint besides no cab the HST a little weak for ground work in the fields but it still did every thing i asked just a little slower. to the point of the story i decided to go for a T2420 so much for saving money :( although the % rates 0 48 months did help . i can't say i will miss the black flies or the whine of the HST or the heat of haying seasons, so good buy little friend with two years & 450 hrs and hello AC and dust blocker and having the ability to lift that extra weight with my Bradco Grapple and smiling back at my brother in the field when he sees my new tractor ;) he has no idea what i did that friday hopefully i will get it wednesday , two remotes put on and one dent remote, ballast in tires ,I also had the wheels moved out not enough room for cat 2 ,wonder why they put them so close in the first place, i don't think even cat 1 would fit .

Congrats on the new machine. You'll love the super suite cab. I've only had my tractor since february but the little bit of time I've been able to use it has been really nice. Theres nothing like plowing snow in a t-shirt while listening to the radio!

The wheels are possibly set in close for shipping. I saw a trailer load of NH compacts going down I-81 last week, the tractors were loaded side by side, I think there were 8 on the trailer.

yep
mighty nice

watch the cab air filters, they can really load up with stuff.
I blow them out about every 25 hours and usually have to replace them about every 100 hours. (that should only have 1 filter, my TN has 2)

the really funny thing is when you take the old one out and it weighs like 5lbs and the new one weighs 1lb.
hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

I have to wait ,my dent valve just arrived friday : ( i should have the tractor this Tuesday . The time down has given me time to think whether R1 or R4 tires the dealer has the two no big deal to switch them ,my 40 had R4 and i never had a problem but the new machine is a lot bigger with more hp. i also looked at more aggressive R4's on line. the problem i think the R1 are too narrow for my wet farm. Now before ever one tells me that's the way it should be, have lived on a farm all my life :) I just wanted to know if any one has try the R4 aggressive lug pattern? Some are made by Michelin, firestone, and Goodyear. they will never be as good as R1's but they might give me the float i need plus a little more traction then the regular R4. pictures of the R1's , the front tires are the most point of concern.

thanks
