Based on ya'lls advice I bought a 24 hp 4wd Ford with loader (1310) about 2 yrs ago and a KK 5' BH and have used them both heavily. They are holding up outstanding. Now my deck on my riding mower recently ate itself, I can repair, but I am wondering, since the lawn tractor is old, if it would be better off to buy a FM for the tractor instead. I have about 1.5 acres of nice lawn, and I have cut it with the 5' BH, but it is very hilly and with the single wheel in the rear of the King Kutter BH, it flops too much when I am trying to cut close. Although I have no experience except for what I have used it for, so maybe I am going about it wrong. I still need the BH for several acres of rough stuff. I see KK FM for about $1100 at the local TSC, 5'. I figure if I buy one of them that would be the end of it - any thoughts.

Now that you have the tractor to run them, adding more implements makes it even more usefull.
My opinion is get the RFM and use that tractor.
I have had a 6' KK rear finish mower for around 5 years (mows a 6 acres lawn). 1 belt and a flat tire are the only things ever needing repaired.
