Hi All,

I've been studying this site for some time and thank you all for your great advice. I settled on a new 2305 that I've had for about a month. Sorry I don't have "new" pictures, I couldn't wait to get it dirty. This is kind of a test to see if I am succesful at posting pictures. If all works well you should see the old girl teaching a pile of sticks who's boss.:D

Welcome to the forum from another very happy 2305 owner and I have got to ask you what is that added equipment attached to the Frontier BB?

Hi Bud,

That's the standard 48" BB. The black tube was on there when it was delivered and contains the instructions for the BB. I just received some suitcase weights yesterday that I am hoping to hang on the BB for added ballast. Then when the FEL is off I can hang them on the front. I have a pretty steep slope that I have to mow and I am all for keeping the wheels on the ground if you know what I mean. So far my only modifications have been adding a 2" receiver to the top of the bucket. ( You can barely see a chain wrapped around it in the picture) Also, I filled the tires with Windsheild Washer / Water Fluid. I am in the proces of building a website to show the mods. Have you done anything to yours?

Congatulations, Deerfoot!
The 2305 is an amazing machine. I have a Woods box blade on mine. What's the black thing on your Frontier box blade?
The picture posted fine-let's see some more

thanks for filling me in, i was curious. i haven't done any modifications to mine - i have a land pride bb and a 54" front blade (snow removal) and the 200cx fel, i also have a lt180 that i use at this point for mowing. i have worked the poop out of mine moving rocks (did have an excavator come in to remove the really big ones, which then sprouted millions of babies) from this wonderful rhode island landscape. once i get rid of the rocks and replant i will trade the lt180 in for a 62'' mmm (hopefully). these little guys just amaze me as i have most definitely over loaded the fel on way more than one occasion - again it is all about load balancing <grin>. welcome to the forum...

The dealer led me to believe that black tube containing the BB manual was standard. It's kind of like a Thermos with a screw lid without the insulation. I too am amazed at what this little bugger will do. Only thing I haven't been able to do yet is get it stuck! I am concerned about this slope I need to mow. It goes up and leans over at the same time. Kind of like two slopes in one. Have you guys had any experience with any hills?
