Been busy at work and haven't had time to post much lately. Todays tip is for people that have a pump and have problems with the pump getting clogged up with debris. I have a electric pump that I use for various tasks. One problem with is it plugs up really easy. Its not really a trash pump. What I've done, and also have seen a lot of contractors do with their pumps, is take a 5 gallon bucket and drill a lot of holes in the bottom and sides. The holes should roughly be about 3/8" in diameter, but size isn't important. Then set the pump in the bucket and your all set. I tie a rope around the bucket handle on mine. I use this rig to pump off my pool cover in the winter.
