Tips for installing new hydraulic pump in excavator?

Napa is the most expensive place to get hoses made in my area. They are also open on Sunday and if you want a hose on Sunday, you go to Napa!!!

And about 95% of the time, the hoses will blow up on Sunday

On that same Sunday, after NAPA closes, the hose on the other side springs a leak!! I have learned that hoses that are paired in a hydraulic system that are the same age will generally fail within a short time of each other. NAPA is the only game in town for me. Much cheaper than OEM generally.
