I need to add ballast to the rears of my Kubota L4400. I do not want to add tubes. We have abundant locust around here and tubes are always getting punctured. Freeze protection is a minor issue.
I have the hose attachment and I ready to go but I'm very concerned about rust. I plan on adding anti-freeze but I don't know how much actual rust prevention that will provide.
I've heard of the process of using wiper fluid but it seems expensive and getting it in the tire seems tedious. I also have no idea how to get it in bulk. I don't know how many gallons I'd need but I think there are charts that tell that. A lot, I'm guessing. I suppose you'd just put the air/water adpater on the tire valve, attach the hose to that and then stick a funnel in the hose and pour the wiper fluid in. I think that would take forever.
Finally, I've been doing a little Googling and I've emailed these folks to see if this would work:

Any additional thoughts?
