Tire bead has wood in it

I wedged a piece of bark and wood into my front rim. I decided to see if it would work out but went flat after a few weeks.
In hindsite I should have had it dismounted and cleaned up right off. If it was me I would have the tire guy come out ASAP. You never know if you will need you tractor this winter and you may find it flat.

It is best when you remove the wood before the tire is flat when you need it. It is not a big deal to lay the tire on the ground. Drive your truck's back bumper over the woods location and use a hyd. jack placed under the bumper and on the tire to push tire down off the rim. Clean the wood out and re air the tire. Rimguard remains in tire the whole time. Added thought- jack base should be on the tire as close as possible to rim.

I've had it happen quite a few times on the rears but never the size you've described. I've aways been able to remove them after deflating the tire, being careful not to puncture the tube.

I 15th removing the wood. It's not very difficult & although minor it can wick water & possibly cause the rim to rust along the bead area. MikeD74t
