Mahindra MAX 28XL, Jinma 254 (Sold)
I have a Mahindra Max 28XL. After the big snowstorm we got a couple of days ago Im looking into tire chains. I think I can come up with a set for the front tires. Would that bother anything to just run chains on front tires? Any recommendations for chains on all four tires? Thanks!

Here is a set for your rears;
Tire Chains-Studded-Tractor
the euro style studded chain is the only way to go,
they have much more traction and provide a decent ride, better then any others.

For the fronts the same style likely in an ATV/UTV size.

Also once a thread gets started if you scroll to the bottom of the page it will have some "similar threads",
at least it does on a computer don't know about on a phone.

I have the Aquiline MPC chains on my Max 26xl. My driveway has a 9° slope (according to my truck) . They made a huge difference especially when it is icy. One of the best mods to the tractor yet. I haven't put anything on the fronts yet. I have enough traction now and only considered them for steering control. Controlling the loader and not lifting the front wheels at all definitely helps though.

HI the chains I have are similar to what is shown in the link above but not as aggressive. i too have about 10-15 degree slope. i have them on all fours where the front is basically to help with steering instead of having the tracotr being pushed to the side when using the bucket to plow like a snow pusher. they have worked great since i got them 3 years ago. with them on i can plow going up hill, otherwise too difficult. i have a mahindra 2555. too me these are a great addition to all four, not cheap but then again they will probably last decades. i use the chain tensions on the outside of rim and use bungees on the inside of rim.
