Have been thinking about changing the industrial tires on my B26 to turf tires. I like the industrial treads, but they are really eating up my lawn.

Anyone have any suggestions as to where to look for new or even used turf tires?

My tires are like new, with only 90 hours on them. I would even be willing to trade for a good set of turfs. I will post the sizes tomorrow.

You can nearly buy a lawn tractor for what tires cost for the Kubota. Use the kubota for what it was designed for like digging ditches and loading trucks.

If you want to go new, of course Kubota (whole goods) is a good place to start. A full set of turf tires and wheels for that rig would run about $1125.

The sizes are 13.6-16 rear and 24x8.5-14 front, so I guess you could just put new tires on your current wheels if you could get a good deal on the tires alone.

No, you HAVE to replace the wheels to. The turfs are a different profile and require a different size rim. (Well thats how i understand it for Turfs Vs Ags. Turfs vs Industrials might be different.)

This might be a silly suggestion but how about looking for an old bald set of industrial tyres instead.

Not due for my replacement yet but I asked at my tire shop where I normally get my car/truck tires. Their cost was a good bit less than what the Kubota dealership told me. You may want to call your local tire shops if they do that also..good luck.

I hear your pain, I borrowed my neighbor's tractor as a test before I bought mine to see what size tractor to get, he had ags on his and it tore my lawn and pasture up if it was at all wet out, so I bought turfs (and a much smaller tractor).

I bought a replacement front tire at the local industrial truck tire place. They were way cheaper than everyone else, I think the total cost for tire, disposal and mounting was $125.
