Tire core housing TR CH1

I have an older MF that has a broken Tire core housing TRCH1 however when I try to screw in a replacement, it is too small and will not screw on. The old one that broke said "made in Germany" on it. Is there two different sizes for the TR CH1?

I'm not familiar with those myself, but I see that Gemplers lists old style and new style so that may be your problem.

Thanks for the reply, however the new style is completely different in that it has exterior threads. The picture Gempler's has looks very similiar to the TR CH1 I have that I thought was the replacement and also to the broken on I removed, however the fluted part will not thread onto the old valve that is still mounted on the rim. I have been told by a tire shop that there are two sizes but they are both old. Since I have not found another part number, my guess is there may be a metric size and a standard size?

Are the VLA antennas still in operation?

This past June was in the area traveling toward Gila /Cliff to visit friends.
Magdelina town had lost it water supply and almost shut down the only store that seemed open was the liquor store.

Welcome to TBN and just wonder what you do for a living there seemed to be very ranching or farming some logging in the mountains.
Gov. Forrest Service and highway dept. seemed to be only employers.
