Hi, I've lurked her for a while and signed up today.
I have a 1975 David Brown industrial tractor loader backhoe that I bought about 17 years ago. I used to clear my property back then, but only use it once or twice a year now. I'm currently shopping for a smaller tractor, that's a different story.
The rear tires on my tractor are in tough shape, the originals I assume. The sidewalls are starting to split and I have managed to put some good gashes in them. One is flat with a big tear in the inner tube. New tires are out of the question. I want to replace the tube and perhaps patch up the tire if that's possible. I'm confused as to the size. The tire is marked 16.9/14-30. I've looked at Gempler's but they don't seem to offer a tube that size. I also found a tube on e-bay listed as 16.9-30. The price is good but I don't know if it will fit since they don't have the number 14 in their size.
I appreciate any advice.
