Hey Guys,

I just noticed this today, and haven't talked to my dealer yet (Holiday). I have separation of several lugs on each of the front tires, some worse than others. Is this normal, or should I be concerned about a tire failure in the near future? The tractor has 142 hours and is a year and a half old. Should this be covered under warranty?

Thanks,
Joe

Take it to the tire company, not Mahindra. It is either a Carlilse or a Titan, they would determine if it is defective.

If they are Titan tires, you can expect a hassle. Just went thru it with a set of R1's. Took a couple of weeks and a persistant Titan tire dealer but Titan is sending a new set of tires. There was a catch though. I was told that I will have to pay for the dismounting and remounting of the tires. Seems that titan typically stiffs the tire dealers for this.

But have no fear. The folks at Mahindra have come thru. Mahindra has agreed to reimburse me for the extra expense. Thanks to the efforts of Brenda Bradshaw in customer service.

They are Titan tires, and so far I've had no hassle what so ever. Tuesday morning I contacted my Mahindra dealer and he recommend I contact Titan Tire directly. After speaking with the manufactures warranty dept. and a dealer here in town Wednesday, I emailed both of them photos of the tires. Today I received a phone call from the tire dealer and was told he just got off the phone with Titan and a new set of tires were on there way.

Here are the photos I sent them.

I wish I had that easy of a time. I had a side wall issue. Tires are less than a year old and they look like they are 10 years old.

Sun damage ?

From what I have gathered from the Titan dealer, it seems the they have forgotten to add some chemical to the rubber. THis makes the tires highly succeptaple to premature dry rot/weather cracking.
