Good morning all, I have a Farm Pro model Y 385 Tractor, the starter is dragging, the hydralic pump quit, Anyone want to buy a tractor, I live in Mo. south west corner Ar. Ok line area, I have all the books, all the maitance records, tires are good, Engine is good, Has Koyker 160 front end loader on it, I am just not a mechanic, and I have replaced what ever I broke, I am just tired of the up keep, Think I'll try and buy a new one.. this one is 15 years old, so some of you tractor guys might be intrested. Let me know. Wonder what one would scrap out for, you know tear it apart and sell it piece by piece.

You might do good, people work on that brand a lot. If you buy new I would suggest a Kubota, Yanmar, Kioti, Deere or other major brand. Or even lightly used to save a little.

Parting the tractor out might be an option. It is going to require mechanical work on your part. Plus,,,,,, many time consuming phone calls with a small percentage of sales. Everyone wants something for nothing.

Not sure what your tractor weighs? I think scrap iron is selling somewhere around $75 per ton??

My humblest apologies, I should have waited until you had your morning coffee, but I think I asked valid questions. Why not post an ad in the classified section?
