hello, i have a branson 4020 with
8-18 front tires, and
12.4-28 rears ag tires.


can someone give me the proper inflation pressure for these tires.

I have a Century 3040 which is supposed to be about the same as the Branson 4020 I believe. This is what my manual states for these tire sizes. Maybe someone with a 4020 can confirm.
8-18 Tires Field Work & Road Transport 27-30 Front Loader 40
12.4-28 Tires Field work 20-23 Road Transport 25-30 Front loader 20-23
I don't understand why the "Front loader" for the rear tires are less pressure than "road transport" but this is what the manual states.

I'd guess it is just a statement that the front loader doesn't require a difference (to field work) on the rear tires - reasonable.
Running on the road is what is different for the Ags, though not for Industrials or Turfs.

Because the manufacturer does not know exactly what application your tractor will be used for i find it's better to visually check the way the tyre sits when the tractor is at it's working configuration ie. loader , mower , fuel etc . If a tyre is bulging at it's bottom it means the center of the tyre is not carrying it's share of weight which will cause the sides of the tread lugs to fatigue the side walls and also cause exccessive outer lug wear . It also causes rapid wear of the entire surface as at the point that a tyre goes from being round turns to being flat at the bottom creates a scrub point . That's why tyres "heel and toe" . Pump up the tyres so that the bottom of the tyre neither sits on it's center(to much air) nor bulges eccessively at it's bottom(to little air) . Then i check the pressures so i can maintain them at that pressure . My rear tyres run at 20psi and the fronts 25psi . I could still read the tyre size's molded on the lugs untill around 500 hours .
