Hi Guy痴
I have a Branson F47Chn fitted with a front loader and 4 in 1 bucket, when I am moving material with the loader the tractor tends to bounce a lot while operating the loader, it feels like the tire pressures are too low.
Can anyone advise me on what the tire pressures should be please?
Thank you
Michael

With the loader, I run 3 bar (44 PSI) on the front tires and I have 1.2 Bar (17 PSI) in the rear.

I have a FEL with grapple on my M6040. I always run 30 psi ( max recommended pressure for R-1 ) in the front tires and around 16 psi in the rears.

The required/max tire pressure depends on the type of tire. Should be on the sidewall.

All the tire sidewall will show is the maximum pressure for the maximum load. Depending on the loading and use quite often maximum pressure is not needed or desired.
Most tire manufactures will have a table listing design pressures for various load weights for their tires.

I don't run any of my tractor tires at sidewall rating because I would be in the hospital with back surgery! My loaders run better with lower pressures; bounce less. Compromise for me between support for the tire sidewall and my back.

To the OP, tire pressure is like pressure in a basketball, soccer ball, volleyball, etc.

The higher the tire pressure the more bouncing you will have.

Sometimes you need the full pressure because of the load the tires are carrying, and sometimes you may want to reduce the pressure to just enough to keep the tire on the rim to increase traction. I run at max pressure (as listed on the sidewall) because I use the loader (3000+# rating) a lot with heavy materials.
