I noticed that one of my front tires on the tractor has about a one inch split behind one of the tread blocks. Is there some kind of flexible tire goo I can put in there just to keep sand and gravel from working their way into the tire?

I've never seen a product designed for that application, could be out there though. Ya might put one of Phil Swift's flex seal products to the test. I'm curious if there is a product that would hold? B

There is this;
http://www.rematiptop.com/products/automotive/vulcanizing-compounds.html

and this;
LOCTITE PC 735

I have used some 2 part belt repair compound but I don't recall the brand, I used it after putting a boot in a tire to keep some of the garbage from getting to the tube.

I have not tried it yet, but bought a tube of GE black silicone for this purpose.
I think if I cut a small tip hole, I can force the silicone into the small rubber separations, and thus keep the dirt/stones out.
