Tires Tire repair Mahindra 4110

Hi Guys, Talked to you earlier about buying this machine. Its a workhorse, but I have my first minor problem. Being a first time tractor owner I need some info. I just bought a Mahindra 4110 with FEL, 4 wd and R4 tires, have been removing a hill from the side of my house and filling in a pond with the dirt. Have 8 hours doing this and noticed the front tire has a small hole and "oozing fluid"? Can I plug this tire like a truck tire , or do I get a professional repair.

You can use a regular tire repair kit as you would use for any other bias ply tires.

I had a mesquite thorn that was just too big for my self-sealing goo that was already in the tire to handle, so I used a plug/cement kit from "Monkey Grip" (parent company "Victor" ) I got at Auto Zone. Kit included plugs, cement, rasp, and an insertion tool.

Worked great. No problems sense (did the repair last year.)

Tire Repaired using a plug - just like a truck tire,
one thing different - I remove some of the fluid from the tire
and put the hole at the 12 o'clock position this way the plug and rubber cement came in contact with dry rubber, put tractor back to work and after 6 hrs tire O K, THANKS
