Last summer I decided to put sealer inside my trailer tires as a preventive measure, because with dual axles it can be hard to tell at a glance if a tire is low on air with the one next to it holding it up. Yesterday I noticed a low tire, and sure enough, it had a drywall screw in it. I actually had forgotten that I had put the sealer in the tires untill I took out the screw and stuff started spraying out. The sealer I used was "Sealtite", and I used the recommended amount in each tire. At the store it was on the shelf next to "Slime", but was a little cheaper. I have heard of people having good luck with Slime, guess I got what I paid for, a cheap product.

Never heard of sealtite but most likly was made the same way as slime,These temporary sealer's are just that temporary. Most state that they are for off road use only,They work good for brair holes in ATV and tractor tire's and wheel barrow's for sure.Keep a can in your truck and only use it in case of a flat as a temporary repair till you can get the tire repaired.

It all wears out over time and miles. Fibers break up. Then, extended parking causes the solution to drain away from the hole area and leak starts. Drive it and it will stop. Park with hole down and it will stay up indefinitely. It will continue to degrade. You will have to add more over time to maintain fluidity and effectiveness.
